[![[FAST 4x1.png]]](https://scamtracking.org) # Welcome to **Furry Assisted Scam Tracking - FAST!** This is the documentation site for the [Furry Assisted Scam Tracking](https://t.me/scamtracking) project, a collection of tools and resources to help keep furry Telegram communities safer from scammers. > [!info] This site only contains information about this project, and the resources and tools it provides > For the actual list of scammers we are tracking, visit the [@scamtracking Channel](https://t.me/scamtracking) on Telegram and read the pinned message. > [!bug] Want to report a new scammer to us? > Visit [[πŸ“¨ Reporting scammers|this page here]] to see a guide on what we're looking for, the info we need from you, and how to submit a new report via the [FAST New Scammer Submissions Bot](https://t.me/Scamtracking_submissions_bot) We want this resource to be transparent and accessible for users on Telegram, that's why we keep all the data about the scammers we are tracking available within Telegram itself. This allows any Telegram user to quickly check an account without leaving the app. ## User guides User guides and information about FAST can be found in the navigation menu: top of your screen on mobile, left on desktop. An [[❔ FAQ]] is available, as is a [[πŸ“š Glossary]] of terms used, and descriptions of the [[πŸ‘οΈ Types of scam that we see often]]. ## Admin guides For chat admins, we have guides on [[πŸ€– Intro to the Countersign bot|how to use our bot to protect your chat]], and [[πŸ€” Why do we need FAST|why it is important to take action]] to keep your chat members safe. ## How we operate Any Telegram user can review the data we've gathered about each account on the list and how we came to our decision. Anyone we have added to the list but feels they should not be on it is welcome to come and discuss their case with us - [[πŸ“ƒ How we operate#Removal from the list of scammers|here is how we handle requests for removal]]. For more information on our principles and how various policies we have see here: [[πŸ“ƒ How we operate]]. # πŸ€” _"What is this FAST thing?"_ This project is dedicated to finding and identifying scammers who are targeting furry chat groups on Telegram, specifically accounts who seem to be furries - so not anyone with a humansona, for instance. While the main output of the resource (a nice, easy to use list of scammers) is mainly for use by chat admins, non-admins play a crucial role in helping to collect and sort the evidence we need. Hence why this is a _**Scam**_ _**Tracking**_ project, but is _**Assisted**_ by _**Furries**_! So we are **Furry Assisted Scam Tracking**! 🦊🐊🦈🐯 We're incredibly thankful to everyone who helps us by reporting scammers or sending us evidence about scammers we are already tracking. We couldn't do this without you, and that's why we couldn't do the _**Scam**_ _**Tracking**_ without being _**Furry**_ _**Assisted**_. πŸ’– If you want to submit a new scammer report to is, see here: [[πŸ“¨ Reporting scammers]] # 😱 _"This is a lot! The FAST project, under the shorter name "Scam Tracking", was founded and developed by Yumi. This included the original format of the channel and chat, as well as the CountersignBot and the [technology it uses](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furby). Over time as the need for this anti-scammer resource grew, so did the admin and moderation staff, as well as the number of users actively contributing to the project. This documentation site was created by zekone, with most of the contents written by them. Various pages and sections have been written by others, who have either been appropriately credited or wished not to be.
