# 🔗 Sharing info to other places Information in FAST is deliberately left available for sharing and forwarding from the [Listings](https://t.me/scamtrackinglist) group to other chats or users. Transparency is critically important in helping users and chat admins trust that we are only adding _real_ scammers to the list. However it is also important that people are able to **trace the source of the information**, so we'd like to ask you to follow some basic guidelines when sharing information about scammers or about FAST in general. # 💬 If you want to tell someone about FAST The callout boxes below contain blocks of text ready for copy-pasting into Telegram messages. Click/tap on them to expand and see more info and the message content to use. > [!example]- Copy-pastable Telegram message to introduce people to FAST - intro to FAST, why it's important, and links to the channel, website, and bots. > This is useful to send to chat admins to introduce them to the project and demonstrate what FAST can do and why it is important. > > > [!info] Click/tap the copy button in the top right of the text box below to copy the contents to your clipboard - it can then be pasted straight into Telegram > > %% This should be copy-pasted into the template message in Discussions - Help and info %% > >```Copy >Here's some info for you about Furry Assisted Scam Tracking - FAST! 🩊🐊🩈🐯 > > FAST was set up to help keep furries on Telegram a bit safer from scammers - specifically scammers who appear to be furries, as the number of them pretending to be furs has grown rapidly in the past year or so. > > While furries are generally very good at spotting non-furry scammers (like cryptoscammers and others who use human-looking profiles), scammers who are pretending to be furries blend in amongst other chat members, often lurking in groups just so they can DM chat members. They are much more dangerous, much harder to detect, and are causing real harm to furries in our community. > > We want to stop them, and need your help to do that. > > đŸŠč Telegram channel with the full list of scammers being tracked: 📌 in @scamtracking > > đŸ€– Bot for quickly checking (via username, userID, or forwarded messages) if a Telegram account is on our list of scammers and for submitting new scammer reports: @Scamtracking_submissions_bot > > 🌐 Website with more details about FAST, including what tools and resources are available for chat admins to keep their chats safer: scamtracking.org > > đŸ€” Why is this important? scamtracking.org/whyfast > > ⚖ Principles and policies that guide how we operate: scamtracking.org/operate > > đŸȘ§ Info on our Countersign bot, which can be added to chats to perform CAPTCHAs on new users and to remove anyone on our list of scammers automatically: scamtracking.org/countersignbot > > 🛡 Admin contact: scamtracking.org/admins >``` > [!example]- Links to FAST places, for use on Telegram or elsewhere > > > [!info] Click/tap the copy button in the top right of the text boxes below to copy the contents to your clipboard > > Link to this website: >```Copy >https://scamtracking.org >``` > > Link to the channel: > - Only works on Telegram > - Contains the full list of scammers > - Pinned message contains links to other groups and to the website > >```Copy >@scamtracking >``` > > Link to the @scamtracking channel that works outside of Telegram: > >```Copy >https://t.me/scamtracking >``` > Link to website page to help explain why we, as a community, should be doing more to protect against scammers >```Copy > đŸ€” "Why is FAST even needed?" > Scammers are targetting us - furries - because they know we are welcoming, open, and buy lots of art and custom-made items. This will always contain the most up to date information for someone who isn't familiar with this resource. If you want to send someone a link to the list of scammers, send them to the [pinned message in the @scamtracking Channel](https://t.me/scamtracking). The pinned message includes links to the other chat groups. > [!tip] Don't forget that our [[📹 Reporting scammers#đŸ€– Reporting a new scammer via the bot|New Scammer Submission bot]] can also do a quick check of an account to see if we already have them on our list of scammers. It can use a username, userID, or a forwarded message from the account. The callout boxes at the top of this section contain links to more specific pages that people might want info about, and a full message summarising the project and why we do what we do. Please use those when introducing people to FAST. # đŸ“© If you want to share information about a specific account listed in FAST The first message in each topic in the [Listings](https://t.me/scamtrackinglist) group contains the main information about the account, as well as a _**"Open tracker entry"**_ link that will always link to the full tracker entry. It looks like this: ![[Listings topic header eg.png]] **Please make sure to forward that message** (or link to it) when forwarding information about a specific account. Due to a surge of scammers we had trying to pre-emptively "remove" themselves from the list, you now need to request to join the [Listings](https://t.me/scamtrackinglist) group, and will get DMed by our bot ([@CountersignBot](https://t.me/CountersignBot)) when trying to join. Make sure you complete the verification CAPTCHA the bot sends you within a few minutes, or else it will time out and you will need to un-request to join, then re-request to join.
